Syfy宣布续订《凡妮莎海辛》第二季。
结衣（泽尻绘里香 饰）曾经也拥有过美满的家庭，和丈夫阳一（藤木直人 饰）共同养育着可爱的儿子小广（道枝骏佑 饰），她觉得自己的生活就如同小时候看的那些童话故事书里一般的美满。直到有一天，结衣去幼儿园接小广放学回家，仅仅是走神的那一瞬间，小广失踪了。 这巨大的打击给这个家庭带来了毁灭性的后果，作为小广的看护人，结衣成为了众矢之的，在失去了儿子之后，阳一紧接着离开了她。一晃眼9碾过去，某日，小广以少年的模样再度出现在了结衣的面前，可这失而复得带给结衣的却并不只是欣喜。在这失踪的9年里，小广有7年都是和一位名叫麻子（小池荣子 饰）的女性一起度过的。
一宝（马浚伟 饰）和傲蓝（杨怡 饰）是相识多年的好友，两人相互支持相互鼓励经历了风风雨雨，友情真挚又深厚。可是，随着时间的推移，傲蓝对一宝的好感渐渐超越了友情，面对傲蓝的改变，一宝的迟钝令两人在缘分的海洋中擦肩而过。 星皓（谢天华 饰）出现在了傲蓝的身边，性格相似趣味相投的两人很快就走到了一起，不幸的是，正当傲蓝沉浸在幸福中之时，星皓的前女友卓旗（曹敏莉 饰）卷土重来，在她的压力之下，傲蓝选择了放弃。一宝重新回到了伤心欲绝的傲蓝身边，替她疗伤，就在两人越走越近之时，星皓的再度出现令一宝与傲蓝的感情陷入了未知的境地。
